Windjammer Days & The DEYC

The Annual Windjammer Days Festival is presented by Friends of Windjammers, a nonprofit community organization made up entirely of volunteers.  It is the collective passion for the sea and for keeping traditions alive for future generations that drives this event, and keeps our community inspired to bring Windjammer Days to you year and after year. Historically the DEYC has been active in the Street Parade and the Vintage Boat Parade. Last year a lovely evening was spent on the 

water watching the scooners gather in Linekin. We hope you will come enjoy the festivities!

Street Parade come help decoration the Woody Wagon. We need walkers, riders, candy hand outers.  

Mike Dana of Third Reef will be towing the Woody Wagon.

TugBoat Dock Meet and Greet • Wednesday, June 28, 2023 

DEYC is hosting a Meet-and-Greet on the TugBoat dock to let DEYC wannabes know just how fun our club is.

We will have stunning new flyers to distribute that do the hard work. You just need to provide the testimonial.

Vintage Boat Parade • Friday, June 30, 2023  4pm

If you cherish the beauty of old boats with all their character and history, and your boat is 25+ years old, do not miss an oppertunity to grace Boothbay Harbor with your vessel flying the DEYC burgee. 

Announcing of the parade is done on the west side of the harbor from Whale Park.
